The late doyen of the Ajrada Gharana, Ustad Habibuddin Khan is a legend in tabla playing.  A true Ustad with immense amount of variety in his playing.  He would challenge his audience to come up to the stage and grab his hands if they found him repeating any composition in his tabla solo on consecutive days (note:  his solos would be up to 7 hours in length mind you). 

He was also very jealous and disliked the one and only Ahmed Jan Thirakawa.

Nobody knows how he died.
